LogDNA is excited to welcome Eric Lake as our newest Site Reliability Engineer! Originally from Kentucky, he moved to the San Antonio, Texas area about six years ago. He'll be working remotely from there.

Here's Eric putting out fires for the DevOps team, even in the midst of his favorite game - Dungeons and Dragons.

We asked him some important questions...

What is your favorite food, drink, or restaurant?

• Soda: Ale81. It is a ginger ale found only in my hometown area. I have to get some whenever I am visiting family.
• Food: Tex Mex. I love me some fajitas. Not sure if that is my favorite but it is up there.
• Restaurant: Mi Mexico. Another thing mostly only found back home so I don’t get it very often. Others would be Qdoba, chuy's, Alamo cafe.

What's your favorite flavor of cake?

‍Lemon

‍What do you like to do for fun?

‍Play Dungeons & Dragons with my kids. I also love to float the river in San Antonio. Good time to just chill out and relax. Until the sun burn kicks in that is.

‍If you could instantly pick up a superhero power, what would it be?

‍Probably telekinesis so I could let the dogs out without having to get up. Would also be cool if it would make it so I could levitate.

What’s an interesting fact about you that people wouldn’t guess?

Not sure it is interesting but am not into the “normal” kinds of sports at all. I like powerlifting and I love to watch curling during the winter olympics.
